WE AFRICANS SHOULD CULTIVATE A NEW SPIRIT OF COMMITMENT TO THE
CONTINENT-learn to invest in ourselves
Monrovia, January 16, 2017
Vice President Joseph N. Boakai has called for a new spirit of investment and commitment among Africans in which Africans will look inside the continent for the resolution of African problems through job creation.
Vice President Boakai said when Africans invest in Africa they are doing good for themselves and that looking elsewhere for the creation of opportunities in African nations should be something of the past because in his words the continent has abundance of natural resources that can be used to improve the lives of its people.
Vice President Boakai made the remarks Monday when he received in audience a six man delegation from Synergy Capital Group and Global Logistics Services at his Capitol Building Office.
“It pleases me” Vice President Boakai said “to see Africans investing in their own economies saying, what benefit one African Country benefit the rest of the Continent and pointed out that ‘we would like to see a manifestation of the proposals that are before the Liberian Government.
